A4E Organizational Chart + Open Call for New Involvement

Welcome, to the:

Below you will find a set of bubble charts depicting the structure of the various groups that members of A4E are working in.

The Steering Committee has begun to organize each of our initiatives into an ecosystem of groups. These fall into three main categories: Working Groups, Project Groups, and Collaborations. Additionally, there exists the A4E German NGO (non-profit organization) which can receive donations and has many members shared with the steering committee.

Our working groups represent matters that we are working for on an ongoing basis. They are further subdivided into four main categories: Administrative, Membership Management, Communications, and Topical.

Are you html savvy? Do you have experience with virtual conferencing software? Or maybe you like to meet new people? How about creative writing? Our working groups have a variety of working modes that people of all backgrounds can contribute to. Join the #slack-channel of your group of interest and introduce yourself! Have a big idea? Feel free to establish your own working group by engaging with the steering committee in the #general slack.

Our project groups have very targeted goals, typically focused on one paper, event, or strategic planning initiative.

One of the many exciting opportunities for getting involved in A4E is through collaborations with partnering organizations. From astronomy organizations, to VR developers, to planetariums, partnerships  are a great way to be creative and impactful in how you help spread awareness for climate change.
We are always looking to strengthen our network. If you are active in an organization whose mission aligns with A4E, we’d love to hear from you. Become a contact person and help us build connections, foster collaborations, and expand our collective impact.
